Created from the purchased controls division of Energy Management Corporation, the original Utah Controls Inc. was first organized in 1991. With a commitment to its mission and values, Utah Controls ably grew to over $10 million in annual sales, employing over 55 full-time industry people. The dream continued as this success lead to the company becoming the largest Independent Field Office (IFO) in the United States for TAC (an international leader in cutting edge Building Automation Technologies).  In July of 2007 Utah Controls purchased and merged with another large successful TAC IFO: Yamas Controls Intermountain. This historic event formed a larger more capable and diverse company now known as Utah-Yamas Controls, a company which currently serves customers in Utah and Idaho from three different offices.
