The Scott M. Matheson Courthouse in downtown Salt Lake City took nearly two years to complete. The HVAC and Lighting Control System for this project was installed and programmed completely by Utah-Yamas Controls, Inc.

Access Control is an integral part of the facility management plan throughout the district. Access is tightly controlled through several strategically placed TAC card readers in every school and district office.

Emery Telcom is one of Utah's leading providers of telecommunication services. Based in Orangeville, Utah, Emery Telcom was formed as a cooperative in 1950 and has since earned industry-wide recognition for its excellence. The telecommunications company serves thousands of telephone customers.



Utah Controls has installed and serviced over $3 million worth of security equipment and upgrades for Provo, Utah based Novell.




Utah-Yamas Controls currently provides approximately 75% of the Access Control, Video Surveillance and Security Systems for the State of Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management.




Utah-Yamas Controls designed and installed a complete HVAC, Access Control, Intercommunication System and a Closed Circuit Television System (CCTV) to insure the safety and comfort of the staff and students.



In 2005, the Department of Corrections contracted with Utah Controls to upgrade the existing PLC’s with new state of the Series-6 PLC’s. Utah-Yamas Controls designed a phased approach to upgrade the entire facility one section at a time.




Utah-Yamas Controls recently completed a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) project for Alliant Tech Systems Bacchus West facility in Magna, Utah.
